“Tina” came to us as a “last hope”. Here she was, 30 years old, on a walker, and even then hardly able to move herself around. When she moved the pain in her lower back and hips was excruciating!  This all started after the birth of her first child. It seems the Doctor wasn’t ready to deliver but the baby was ready to come. Tina is in position to deliver when the nurses tell her she has to wait, don’t push! This goes on for literally hours with the result that after the baby is born and they go to get Tina up, she can no longer walk!! Not only that, she can’t pick her baby up or lay her down, in fact, even holding her creates severe pain if she’s standing. She needs help, and quickly! When Tina first visited our chiropractic office she looked and was pitiful. A friend was carrying her baby. Tina was nearly in tears. I stopped and introduced myself and said ” Wow, Ma’am it looks like you’re in trouble!” She replied “Doc, you’ve got to help me, I can’t hold my baby, I’m afraid I’ll drop her!” I asked Tina ” If Chiropractic gets you walking again, can I have your walker?” She of course gladly agreed!  Jump forward two weeks — Tina coming down the hall, big smile, with a cane! She says ” It’s working, look here! ” I asked “Where’s your walker?” “I still have it at home but get by most of the time with a cane now. ” Progress continued and today Tina is fully functional and in fact, back to playing softball with her church league!
